Information Background

Rehabaid Centre has conducted a survey on rehabilitation services provided by private clinics in Hong Kong, with the objective of enhancing intersectoral collaboration between the private and public health sectors. A questionnaire was designed and sent to private clinics providing Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy services. Visits were subsequently made to those clinics that responded, to collect more information on physical environment, accessibility, facilities and services provided. It is hoped that the information can provide a broader range of choice for clients in public hospitals and allow them to move seamlessly between public and private rehabilitation services.
