This service provides comprehensive assessment and rehabilitation for patients
who have cognitive impairments arising from brain damage, with the aim of assisting
them to live as independently as possible in the community. We conduct comprehensive
assessment to identify the clientˇ¦s functional abilities and cognitive deficits.
To promote community re-entry, our training programmes for clients are offered
in a community setting, and because cognitive impairments are often long lasting,
we also offer education and training programmes for clients and their families
on how to manage such impairments and improve functioning in the community. In
addition to our client service, we also provide professional consultation on
assessment and treatment of cognitive impairments for health care professionals. |
