Sexual dysfunction can arise from many causes, but all individuals retain the
need, and, with appropriate rehabilitation, the capacity to enjoy sex. Staffed
by male and female occupational therapists and physiotherapists with specialized
training in sex counselling and therapy, and supported by a local and international
referral network, the Sexual Rehabilitation Specialty provides a client-centred
service aiming to help those with sexual dysfunction return to the enjoyment
of sexual intimacy. For individuals, we provide assessment of sexual dysfunction
and sexual satisfaction, sex counselling and therapy. Spouses and partners benefit
from our sexual relationship counselling. For health care professionals we offer
educational workshops presented by local and overseas specialists, in-service
training for staff in hospitals and welfare agencies, and consultation for individual
health care providers. |
