Rehabaid provides community exhibitions to increase public awareness of the various needs of people with disabilities and how rehabilitation services can help in meeting these needs. Exhibition boards, and aids and rehabilitation equipment such as wheelchairs, walking aids, pressure relief cushions, commode/shower chairs, communication aids, and other aids for independent living, are displayed at exhibition venues. Rehabaid therapists are present at the exhibition venues to provide demonstrations to visitors and educate them on the needs of people with disabilities and the proper use of technical aids and equipment. |
