The Rehabilitation Equipment Loan Scheme operates for the benefit of individuals requiring rehabilitation due to temporary disabilities or illnesses, or those who are awaiting the delivery of their own items of equipment from suppliers, or who require a temporary loan of equipment while their own is being repaired. Loans are made after an assessment by a Rehabaid therapist, with the loan period extending to a maximum of three months (with a further extension of the loan period possible after reassessment). Please note that a deposit and the payment of a rental charge are usually required, except in cases of financial difficulty. |
