The Toy Library lends toys to children with special needs to provide the stimulation
necessary to allow them to reach their full potential. Play is vitally important
in a child's development, and parents too benefit from the bonds formed by playing
with their children. We also give advice to parents on the selection of appropriate
toys for their children, and serve as a resource and demonstration centre for
special schools and rehabilitation organizations to guide them on how to establish
toy libraries. The Toy Library also promotes the integration of children with
special needs and their able-bodied peers by providing an enjoyable environment
for them to interact together. |
