Technical aids and building materials database for people with disabilities or chronic illnesses

This database is an updated and comprehensive collection of more than 8000 products, both locally developed and imported items of technical aids for people with disabilities or chronic illnesses. All the technical aids involved have been categorized under the Rehabaid Technical Aid Classification Scheme, which ensures the consistent use of classification vocabulary. The database can be searched easily through the point-and-click graphical user interface. The product information includes product descriptions, digitized colour photographs and updated supplier information. Most of the entries carry price information. An automated e-mail composing feature is built-in to enable users to contact the suppliers/manufacturers for further information.
